How to Register

Offers of Service: the OOS registration form is here. Do not use the participant form for Offers of Service (ie. camp volunteers, not participants).

All OOS must be registered members of Scouts Canada (or a B-P Guild for adult OOS), and must meet the following screening requirements, all of which must not expire before May 30th 2024:

  • youth: Active in MyScouts with Venturer Scouts or Rover Scouts, Respect in Sport, Scouting Fundamentals, recommendation letter from your Group Commissioner, and Youth Code of Conduct signed
  • adult: Fully screened and Active in MyScouts (RIS, Scouting Fundamentals, PRC/VSS, Adult Code of Conduct, reference checks, Group Commissioner approval, Council approval, Code of Conduct)

Step-by-step Registration Guide for Participants

Registration is now closed.

STEP 1 - fill in the Letter of Intent (page 3 of the Registration Package) and send it in as directed ASAP, with your estimated numbers of participants

STEP 2 - sign up your participants within your section or group, and fill in the Section Registration Form (page 4 of the Registration Package) and have your participants fill in the Individual Registration Form (page 5 of the Registration Package) and send all forms as directed by January 31st 2024; include your Group or Section cheque for the deposit amount payable to "Scouts Canada"

STEP 3 - collect the balance payments from your participants and send a Group or Section cheque payable to "Scouts Canada" no later than March 28th 2024 along with the Section Balance Form (which will be sent to you once the attendance has been finalized, in early March 2024)

STEP 4 - have each participant fill in a SCOPE Medical Form (available here) and bring it to camp

STEP 5 - generate an AAF (Adventure Application Form) for all your participants, have your Group Commissioner approve it, and send it to us, together with your participant roster. Each participant will need to have an approved Scouts Canada Parent/Guardian Consent Form (available here) as well, in order for your GC to complete their AAF, since the camp is longer than 2 nights

STEP 6 - come to SCOPE 2024 on May 23rd and have a fantastic adventure!
